Before the professor could say anything about deducting points (and please don't, Professor Romanova. And please don't send us to the headmistress and please don't give us detention for fighting in class. Something's up with Kandor and I'm gonna find out what), she pulled Sofia off of Kandor and yelled, "Stop it! STOP IT! What the matter what you?!? This is my first class and I've never got detention and I most certainly don't want to start now! Thank you for helping, Sofia, and Kandor, please try to control your temper!" and with that she sat down.

Melissa looked up at the professor with tears in her eyes. "I'm so sorry, Professor Romanova. Please go easy on us. I've never gotten a detention before."
(OoC: This is true by the way.Oh, and thanks to Kait and Kandor, I'll end up worrying about this during my entire vacation! I was sick all week last time so I'm really looking forward to this vacation and now I'll worry, so thank a lot.)

"Hey, hey, hey!" Anika shouted, throwing her arms up into the air just as Kandor pushed Melissa and Sofia sitting on Kandor while threatening to hex him six ways past Sunday. However, as Melissa had just pulled Sofia off of Kandor, Anika said, "Thank you, Miss Murray."
"Now, the penalty for fighting is, of course, detention. However, since everyone seems to be fine and no one was remotely injured, meaning no broken bones, no bloody noses, no cuts or scrapes, I shall refrain from giving you detention," Anika informed her three students. "Now, points will be taken away, I'd say about five from Bluejays and five from Eagles. Miss Murray, I ask you never to call Mr. Vidic a donkey ever again. Mr. Vidic, if you so choose to lose your temper in this class again and push a girl to the floor, I will see to it that you get a month's worth of detentions. You don't lose your temper and cause harm to others, ever" she said. "And as for you, Miss Reynolds, we do not pin people to the ground, sit on them, and threaten to 'hex them six ways past Sunday,' am I clear?"

He muttered something under his breath in thick Russian and sat down "Are you sure Divination actually works Professor," he said curouisly raising an eyebrow

Anika watched as Kandor took a seat and heard him mutter something distinctly in Russian. "Da and niet, Mr. Vidic, Divination doesn't work, per se, it's more like the person working with Divination chooses their own path, Divination is just there to guide them along the way," she answered him, her left eyebrow raised slightly. "Mr. Vidic, do you think you have have the capacity to keep your composure and stimulate a fiber of patience to work with Divination? If anyone has the composure and patience, they can work with Divination. That sum things up for you?"

"Er, professor?" Sofia asked, a frown forming on her face. "My cousin Svettelana lives in London, and she graduated from a magical school in Britain, and she said when she took Divination there, the teacher was a bit, well, barmy and predicted the death of a student each year, always a different student but such predictions never came," she continued, "and, I just wanted to know if you'd be predicting any deaths?"

Melissa was very relieved. The professor seems very nice, she thought. She looked at the Professor after Sofia asked the question. Professor Romanova didn't look like she would predict death but you could never know.
