Welcome to The American School for Magic's magnificent Library! There is a spell put upon this Library so, although there are three floors, it all fits on one floor, making it larger than it appears. In this I will describe else floor and it's purpose.
1st floor: Double gates open to a large room with a large marble fireplace on the other end. Smooth wood floors are covered with large beautiful rugs spent randomly though-out the floor.
On this floor are separate rooms with glass walls and large book cases fill each one with wooden tables hidden behind each. Silver and bronze plaques mark each room by subject.
In the center and far side of this floor are smaller book cases with various magazines and newspapers, again marked with plaques. There bulletin boards with messages or notices from students and staff. The far end is filled with comfortable arm chairs and couches for those who just want to relax and read/talk/gossip.
2nd floor: Along the walls, are high, arched windows with, long, flowing drapes of warm rich colors that brighten up the room. The wall colors, are warm, rich tone such as a Tuscan yellow and an autumn red. The trim for the library is a rich oak. As for flooring, there are wooden flooring to match the trim, and a rug, a warm blue to match the warm colors.
The oak wood bookshelves are long and towering, and great in number, but not so much so that it becomes a labyrinth. Slender plaques separate genres and different disciplines and subjects.
Long, oak tables complete with benches or chairs are though-out the floor for students to do homework or study or prepare for imminent examinations.

On all floors, the books are every one ever written and are in various languages. There are several copies for each title in case one is borrowed and someone else wants it. There check-out books/cards and catalog cards.
You may also post fanfics and textbooks here.
